Ebay is the easiest business to start on the internet. With the least; or no financial outlay…

“Why Ebay”? You may well ask. Ebay is the best online business to start with little or NO money.

Even if you’ve never sold online before, if you don’t have a website, and you don’t even know what a blog is!

You can make money online, and for as little as FREE!!

So! Why Ebay?

Ebay selling strategies revealed….

Ebay is free to set up.

There are no fees to set up an ebay account, setting up an account takes just a few minutes and once set up is very easy to maintain; as long as you operate your ebay business within the ebay rules & regulations.

Although I must add that Ebay did change policy in 2009, whereas before you did not need to accept payment through it’s sister company Paypal; Ebay sellers do now have to offer paypal “which I do however fully endorse” I’ll talk about the benefits of using paypal in another post; for now all you need to know is paypal is GOOD.

So if you don’t have an ebay account then sign up for a US ebay account here Ebay is the easiest business to start on the internet. With the least; or no financial outlay... or a UK ebay account here Ebay is the easiest business to start on the internet. With the least; or no financial outlay....

  • No upfront fees to list an item on Ebay.

Ebay make selling easy, as with signing up for an Ebay account, Ebay does not charge any upfront fees to list your items for sale. “Let me just clarify” (Ebay do charge sellers a listing fee, this fee is however not made payable upfront).

  • Ebay has an easy to use interface “requires no real technical expertise to start”.

to list items on ebay is also a very simple process, as the inteface is very user friendly, as you will see in this “how to do your first ebay listing” video.

  • Ebay has a massive buying audience.

The massive benefit of ebay is it’s eager money in hand buying audience. Ebay is the single largest auction marketplace on the internet. Although Ebay is an auction site it does have the added benefit of allowing you to sell at a fixed price too. You do not want to do this at first, as we first need to build a presence a “buyer confidence” first.

It can be difficult making your first sale on ebay, as many buyers prefer to buy products from established sellers, and this is displayed as feedback; “buyer and seller ratings” the “holy grail” on ebay.

But don’t worry I’m going to show you how to build up your reputation quickly and easily, and get buyers bidding with confidence. Ebay is full of people trying to scam unsuspecting buyers, and this leads to the cautious approach regarding new sellers. As I said before I’ll show you how to overcome this.

  • Your ebay visitors are targeted. “They are looking for what you are selling”.

Ebay provides targeted visitors to your listings. Ebay is far too big a site for people just to be browsing. People who visit ebay listings are looking to buy the product you are selling. You have to make sure you give them the best information possible so they want to buy your product rather than another ebay seller’s item, and it doesn’t always have to be because you are selling the item cheaper.

  • Most of the work needed can be done by research adapt & paste “notice I didn’t say copy & paste”.

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel to be successful at ebay selling “you just have to become inventive”. Remember what you’re selling is probably already being sold on ebay “which is a very good thing” because if others are selling your item then there’s obviously a demand for that product or service. You’re not going to be doing anything illegal here, and you won’t be infringing any copyright laws either. What you will be doing is some Market research first. I’ll show you how in another video.

  • Contrary to many rumours, Ebay can be set up and run really cheaply.

Ebay can be as expensive as you like, or as inexpensive as you like too. Be wary of “options” when listing your items for sale. Ebay offer various ways of enhancing your listings, at first you want to avoid as many of these as possible. Ebay has however many FREE! Enhancements you do want to use. I will show you these in a video too.

  • Ebay can be used to create a following.

Ultimately you may want to move into new avenues of retailing your products. You may decide you want your very own website which can eliminate some of the fee structures imposed on ebay. This is a great thing, but bare in mind the traffic ebay has,  and should not be ignored. I’m going to show you how you can stay within the rules of ebay and promote your website too. It’s  called branding and you simply must do it.

Here’s to your online success.

excuse i hate to contradict you buy ebay does charge a listing fee for everything u list whether its a .99 item or a $1000 item the fee its dependent of your starting price and then they charge a final price fee and furthermore they no longer let people pay buy check, cash or money order payment must be made online usually with paypal which is owned by ebay and they will take out a fee as well all these fees do add up and will cut into potential profits. I know this because i have been an ebay seller on and off for years.

I think you miss read what I stated, I didn’t say that Ebay don’t charge a listing fee, I said you don’t have to pay the listing fee upfront. Therefore you can actually get started on Ebay with zero upfront costs.
